1. How to reach Meghalaya from Bangalore
Fly from Bengaluru to Guwahati (Assam). Shillong is about 100 km away, roughly a 3-hour drive. Our tours start and end at Guwahati airport or railway station.
2. Best time to visit
- October to May: clear skies, comfortable weather and the clearest water at Dawki (best from November to April).
- June to September: monsoon. Cherrapunji is one of the wettest places on earth; waterfalls are spectacular but roads can be slow.
- Kaziranga is usually open from November to April and closed during the monsoon.
